Innocn is now offering a new mini-LED gaming monitor, the 32M2V. Specifically, the monitor is listed on Amazon for a price of $999, with Innocn selling it itself and Amazon taking care of the shipping. A $100 coupon is currently still on offer, which can be activated with a simple click.

The monitor has a screen diagonal of 32 inches, but should still be able to deliver a sharp image thanks to its 4K resolution. The manufacturer specifies the refresh rate as 144 Hz, so competitive multiplayer games are likely to be displayed well if the player indeed plays at high frame rates. The response time is specified as one millisecond.

As a mini LED screen, the monitor is particularly suitable for displaying high-contrast content, as the background lighting can be controlled particularly precisely. Specifically, the 32M2V has 1152 controllable lighting zones and the model has VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification. The peak brightness is given as 1,200 cd/m².

Both the sRGB and the Adobe RGB and DCI-P3 color spaces are covered by at least 99%, while the color deviation is given as a Delta E value of less than 2. Two HDMI 2.1, one DisplayPort 1.4 and one USB-C port are available, as well as two USB 3.0 ports and one USB-B port. The USB-C port not only accepts image signals, but also supplies connected devices with up to 90 watts.

I have been active as a journalist for over 10 years, most of it in the field of technology. I worked for Tom’s Hardware and ComputerBase, among others, and have been working for Notebookcheck since 2017. My current focus is particularly on mini PCs and single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi – so in other words, compact systems with a lot of potential. In addition, I have a soft spot for all kinds of wearables, especially smartwatches. My main profession is as a laboratory engineer, which is why neither scientific contexts nor the interpretation of complex measurements are foreign to me.

Growing up in regional Australia, I first became acquainted with computers in my early teens after a broken leg from a football (soccer) match temporarily condemned me to a predominately indoor lifestyle. Soon afterwards I was building my own systems. Now I live in Germany, having moved here in 2014, where I study philosophy and anthropology. I am particularly fascinated by how computer technology has fundamentally and dramatically reshaped human culture, and how it continues to do so.
