A traffic officer has died after being hit by a car on the N1 highway in Limpopo.
Limpopo Transport and Community Safety MEC Florence Radzilani said the officer was killed during an operation to curb speeding on the national route.
“According to reports, provincial inspector Kedibone Matsaung, who was based at the Mokopane Traffic Station, was hit by a speeding vehicle outside Mokopane, along the N1 on Wednesday,” Radzilani said.
