Two men arrested for allegedly killing three men in Gugulethu on New Year’s Day were released from custody.

The two men arrested for allegedly killing three men in Gugulethu on New Year’s Day did not appear in court on Friday. They were, instead, released from custody.
Reports at the time indicated the victims were in a vehicle, about to drop off someone, when another vehicle emerged. Potelwa said several shots were fired and it resulted in three people being killed, with a fourth person injured and taken to a medical facility.
