When is the 2024 Carabao Cup final? Date, time of League Cup title match at Wembley Stadium
The 2024 Carabao Cup final will include two different teams from the 2023 showpiece between Manchester United and Newcastle United at Wembley Stadium.
Erik ten Hag sealed a first title as Red Devils manager as his team edged out the Magpies 2-0, but both teams were eliminated from the 2023/24 campaign before the semifinal stage. Newcastle defeated Man United 3-0 at Old Trafford but were then knocked out by Chelsea via a penalty shootout in the quarterfinals.
That has opened up the potential for an unexpected winner, with EFL Championship side Middlesbrough through to the semifinals, and 2022 finalists Liverpool and Chelsea also in the running. Jurgen Klopp’s Reds thrashed West Ham in the last quarterfinal on December 20.
The Sporting News has the latest on the key dates for the 2024 final at Wembley.

When is the 2024 Carabao Cup final?
The Carabao/EFL Cup final is traditionally held earlier than FA Cup and European finals, with a late February date its usual spot in the calendar.
The two-legged January semifinals are both played home and away at the respective clubs, unlike the FA Cup last-four ties, with the final match saved for Wembley.
The 2024 final will be held at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, February 25. Kickoff time is still unconfirmed but is reportedly set to mirror the 2023 start of 4:30 p.m. local time (11:30 a.m. ET).
When are the 2024 Carabao Cup semifinals?
The semifinal matches begin in the week beginning January 8, 2024.
Middlesbrough overcame Chelsea 1-0 in the first leg at the Riverside Stadium and have put themselves in a fine position to reach the final.
Liverpool host Fulham at Anfield for the first leg of that semifinal clash on Wednesday evening.
The second legs will be staged in the week beginning January 22, 2024.
Are Premier League games moved for Carabao Cup final?
The Carabao/EFL Cup final does not have the same level of protection as the FA Cup, but there is usually a time slot reserved for the game. However, a Premier League matchday will still take place that weekend, regardless of which teams are in the final.
Any Premier League team in the cup final will of course have their scheduled league match that weekend moved to a different date.
