Food prices dropping in SA

JOHANNESBURG – Food prices in the country have reportedly shown a small decrease since December last year.

The pattern is set to continue into this year.

According to the most recent food basket data from the Pietermaritzburg Economic Justice and Dignity Group, food costs increased year-on-year in December.

However, there is a month-on-month reduction when compared to November.
