Just before Christmas I was topping up the battery of my Kia EV6 GT-Line (media loan review car) at a JOLT charger when I noticed the JOLT ad screen was featuring someone I know online in the Australian EV enthusiast community.

Stan lives on Kangaroo Island (off the coast of South Australia) and owns a Polestar 2 2024 single motor long range, which he is currently driving several thousand kilometres from home to ACT and back again.

Another Aussie Polestar 2 owner featured in the JOLT and Polestar campaign is Scott, one of the 10% most frequent contributors to the Polestar Owners Australia Facebook community group.

JOLT has partnered with Polestar to debunk “range anxiety”, a common barrier to electric vehicle (EV) ownership.

The ad campaign harnesses the aligned values and synergy between Polestar and JOLT, with both brands dedicated to advancing a sustainable, electric future.

The first ads in early December were about “Round Trip, one charge”, showcasing iconic driving trip locations in NSW within a 655-kilometre round trip from relevant JOLT charging/out-of-home sites, and highlighting the Polestar 2 single motors long range.

The second part of the campaign features photos from a variety of real Polestar owners like Stan, including the passion they feel for their Polestar and the lifestyle it enables, using the hashtag #ElectricLiving.
