Six out of 10 Gauteng Department have clean audits
JOHANNESBURG – There are currently six out of ten departments in Gauteng that have been awarded for having clean audits.
Premier Panyaza Lesufi hosted an event on Wednesday that recognised provincial government departments, for appropriately managing their finances despite the issues at Thembisa Hospital and the major metros that are on the brink of collapse.

The education department in the province received the most accolades.
It recorded a clean audit for the first time in 10 years. And, with the second biggest budget of R60-billion, the premier emphasised that clean audits should be the norm.
