Kaizer Chiefs interim coach has made a big admission about the January transfer window after dropping points in the final game of the year.
The Soweto giants’ three-game winning streak came to an end after drawing 1-1 with Sekhukhune United on Saturday night.

The Amakhosi will end 2023 in sixth position, but Johnson has admitted he does not want any new players joining the club in the transfer window.
“Like I said earlier, I’m not interested in getting any players at the moment. We need to work with what we have, make sure that they come to the party and make sure that they believe that they are Kaizer Chiefs players,” he said.
“And that’s what we gonna work on during the break and now we’ve got a little bit of a holiday.
“I think five or ten days, we get back and we’ve got a little pre-season camp and we see what happens when we come back.”
Johnson was disappointed with how his charges rushed things against Sekhukhune, as they battled back to salvage a point.
“Yes and that’s what we don’t do at training, we do a lot better at training, we hold the ball a lot calmer, a lot nicer and we break faster but sometimes like in the first-half we gave it away far too easily. Ja we’ve got to learn but we’ve got to learn quicker than this,” he added.
“And I think the break will give us something to go back and work on and hopefully we come back in a better space and more willing to win games a lot earlier and take our chances early as well.”
