A Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder is expected to be loaned out to AmaZulu FC, the Siya crew has been informed.
Soccer Laduma had already reported about how Sammy Seabi might have requested to leave Masandawana to gain game time elsewhere.

Siya sources at both clubs have indicated that there may be talks occurring regarding Seabi and that he could even leave on a permanent deal.
“There are different players that AmaZulu have identified for the January transfer window. You know there are two from Orlando Pirates and there is also one from Mamelodi Sundowns in midfielder Sammy Seabi,” said the Siya source.
“I don’t know whether the talks have begun or not but he is on the club’s shopping list and the technical team has agreed that they need a player like him in their midfield going forward,” the source added.

A second Siya source has noted how Seabi has hardly played for Sundowns since joining the team in 2019, so by that reasoning it won’t be difficult for him to adjust to a new club away from Gauteng.
“For now the player is ready to play at any club that will give him that chance. Last season he was at Sekhukhune United and they wanted him back but Sundowns said they wanted to use him but then he is not playing regularly as we speak and Chippa United are also interested in his services,” said the second Siya source.
“So let’s wait and see what will happen in January. You know it’s a short transfer window period and teams will be busy. So AmaZulu want him now but it all depends on Sundowns,” the source added.
When contacted for comment by Soccer Laduma both clubs didn’t respond while this story was being prepared.
