The Poco X6 in the flesh. (Source: Indranil Chakraborty)Xiaomi has now officially confirmed the Poco X6 series for a January 11 launch event in India. Ahead of that date, however, details of the mid-range Poco X6 have now been outed online, along with an image showcasing the smartphone and its box in the flesh.

While details of the Poco X6 Pro have slowly floated across the grapevine, its sibling, the standard Poco X6, has proven more elusive. Until now, that is. Ahead of its launch this month, details of the vanilla Poco X6 have now leaked, revealing its specs and even a live image.

As shared by Sanju Choudhary, the Poco X6 will sport a 6.67-inch 120 Hz OLED. Unlike the Poco X6 Pro which is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra, the standard Poco X6 is touted to feature a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 beneath the hood. That chipset will be aided by LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

Camera-wise, the Poco X6 is said to sport a 64 MP main camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide shooter, a 2 MP macro camera, and a 16 MP selfie snapper. Rounding up the leaked spec sheet are an X-axis linear motor, a 5120 mAh battery, and 67 W charging.

The Poco X6 series has been officially confirmed to debut in India on January 11. A global launch date remains unknown but should be penned in for either the same day or sometime this month.

I like tech, simple as. Half the time, you can catch me writing snarky sales copy. The rest of the time, I’m either keeping readers abreast with the latest happenings in the mobile tech world or watching football. I worked as both a journo and freelance content writer for a couple of years before joining the Notebookcheck team in 2017.
